ManchesterFashionWeek

Just before the start of the All saints fashion show
Thursday 12th April
Shots of the All saints Show

The prints from the All Saints show were great, the denim prints were my favourite, however my least favourites from the show were the army camouflage print.  The rest of the show being honest was quite boring. I found it very mundane and the styling was very safe, the male models were dressed better than the girls.

My outfit from the Day

at the shows...

I chose to wear some comfortable for a day full of shows, I also had a couple of hours spare during the day so planned on going for a little shop, which sadly was unsuccessful.

My favourite show was the flannels showing, it had great prints variety and styling...

the silk jumpsuits with bat wings and playful florals were my
favourite look from the whole day they were so well fitted and elegant

Protestors snuck in and stormed the catwalk at the end of the show, shouting and throwing flyers in to the audience.  One thing that confused me was that there was no fur used in any of the shows, no leather even. I completely agree with animal rights, and found that the protest was quite intimidating and abit unnecessary, just because you watch fashion shows or attend these type of events does not mean that you therefore would murder animals for fur, or agree to it. I for one would not buy real fur from a retailer/designer brand unless i knew 100% where it came from.
